The Swedish-Japanese alliance is again on the samrtphone competition mob world with its first Android proposition – the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 after the difficult time of 2009.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is the ever first Android handset to attribute Timescape and Mediascape along with juicy hardware features. The Android powered X10 is a large smartphone with a 4” capacitive touchscreen. The 8.1-megapixel camera phone is running on a slightly older version of the Android OS and the user edge seems it wants more shine.

Sony’s XPERIA X10 is available even for the online shoppers at a rate of £500 for the thick, for £430 on pay as you go or you can pick the deal of £25 a month free on contracts.

Timescape and Mediascape in Android

Sony made more interesting with the basic version of Google’s Android version. The little flicker could make the boring and multifarious Android OS more powerful and entertaining, though the basic Android version is basically far behind to it.

You can swiftly get a hold of everything from texts, email and tweets to latest photos and songs with the added features in the Android OS, Timescape and Mediascape in the new Sony’s X10.

However, the idea of bringing together everything while you flip the X10 gives the impression of being appreciated, it is not that much significant as it could be.

While the Timescape helps to be fast in text messages, Mediascape is much more delightful by being excellent in running music, videos and photos on our finger tip. Also it helps to search out your online photo albums from Picasa and Facebook. Of course, it is pleased to hold always those your favourite freeze moments in your hand still it may take time to load in your mob even over Wi-Fi.

XPERIA X10 Android Board

Sony is just failed to spot the latest version of Android 2.1 than the older version of 1.6 of Android. Those who are new with Android cannot be identify much difference as still we can download and install apps and make use of Google Maps along with a lot of amusing elements.

The supplementary facility of Microsoft Exchange email will be one of the missing features on it, which will help you to access two Google account at the same time. This feature is not supporting the Android until its 2.1 version.

The assured frequent updates in the X10 possibly will unlock bits of hardware and jazz up the standard features in the later versions of Android.

The Operating System is not yet supporting those facilities including the higher colour resolution for the screen. But, a bit older Android version of this is not big deal if you are the ardent fan of Sony Ericsson smartphone.

The very sad facet of X10 is the missing multi-touch feature which is the more exciting and spontaneous way of interaction. The multi-touch is the one which you will really miss here to play with zooming in and out of Web pages and photos.

X10’s Camera

Sony’s X10 is one of the shining camera sets in the mobile world with 8.1 megapixel snapper. The good lighting helps you to capture the sharp shots and even it offers the manual LED photo light in low brightness. But, the manual LED photo light function is unfeasible for taking photos and videos, altogether.

Impressively it offers a lot more alternatives to polish up your great moments and it works well than any other smartphone. However, it is with the same 1GHz Snapdragon processor which the unbeatable HTC Desire uses to its fast actions, for X10 the speed is not admired. The striving graphics on features won’t helpthe functions to be rapid.

The sensibly set on-screen keyboard is better than the usual touchscreen phone but the iPhone 3GS, the HTC Legend and the HTC Desire. The keys are not so quick to respond although the satisfactory big keys are set well.

Conclusion

Considering the slim mobiles of the tech world, the 13mm thick shiny X10 mob has an appeal of thin sexy look with its softly curved back. Also the lovely large screen of 4”is an absolute crag on the front.

It offers Wi-Fi, GPS, and HSPA connectivity for the high-speed Web browsing. The great deal of 1GB on-board memory is more adaptable along with the 8GB microSD card and it supports the 32 GB card to help you to have more fun with music and video.

The battery life guarantees a full day on one charge like any other stylish smartphone. Though X10 cannot compete with the top rated smartphone like HTC Desire, it is obviously good enough to make a deal of Xperia X10 if we are not needed of the modernized Android features, multi-touch and the newly included custom apps.
