The thin sketch and the very striking screen are the only things to evaluate the new ‘Bada’ carrier Wave S8500. Though it is newsworthy with its attention-grabbing factors around, it’s better to have a look on the phone through the various factors.

Wave With AMLOED

The fast processing of Samsung Wave S8500 will be the first and primary attractive feature overall to make it more impressive. The processor of a 1000 megahertz and the RAM of 512 megabytes are the main characteristics of the Wave which makes the finger-swiping faster.

The metal chassis sported very exciting smartphone appeals similar to the much talked Google’s Nexus One in style. Though, the screen display of 3.3” of Wave is not competing with Nexus One 3.7” and HTC Desire’s 4” display, ‘Super AMOLED’ technology delivers the excellent contrast and the colours are amazingly glowing on the screen. The S8500 Wave has the cordial blacks which we never seen on a mobile phone till S8500.

AMOLED present much vivid, intense and less reflective display on S8500 by attributing a high resolution- WVGA (800×480pixels) screen with mDNIe (Mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology. The Samsung Wave offers the free screening angle with the good image quality for both videos and photo visits in a high-speed response.

Design

The Samsung Wave design is superb and smooth as it is not having the cutting corners. The very sharp and slim Wave’s body shines with classy and solid touch. And the display is enclosed with tempered glass and even Samsung applied an oleophobic coating to get rid of the splotching fingerprints. The build quality of Wave helps you for no mistaking when you click the button. They all are very satisfying to make use of the time very remarkably.

The S8500 runs very smoothly in the new Operating System without any pause. It gives an comparable experience of the iPhone 3GS.

The S8500 Wave shows that the outstanding performance for capturing, sharing and viewing video as it is having the HD video (720p) decoding and recording capacities. The multi-codec supports for DivX, Xvide, MP4 and WMV along with supporting the virtual 5.1 surround sound delivery. These capabilities are making the Wave into a personal entertainment system.Wave S8500 is coming with the added features like Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11n standard.

The 5MP auto focused camera with the LED flash is helpful to record 720p HD videos though it is just behind of the XPERIA X10 of Sony Ericsson. However it presents a great watch of video.

The fundamental choices like ISO, white balance, default storage, stabilizer, face and blink detection, geo-tagging etc are available in your S8500 to make your snap too loveable. The TouchWiz 3.0 interface is pretty enough to use easily as well.

My opinion is the wave hardware configuration is good. But you cannot use it in full fledge because of it software you need to pay route 66 for GPS and no other software can be deployed into bada os. You have to wait for a long timeeeeeee… I waited for 6 months and sold out the mobile and now I am using HTC desire it's bit low quality display than samsung wave. However it's rocking with other hardware and software functionality….

  15. I just love samsung wave models…..
